PSTG has completed work on a project allowing an NHS customer to improve network utilisation and return on investment by bringing a formerly managed service back in house. The client has gone from having a managed network that was under-utilised to getting full use out of a new 10 Gbps backbone.
The project, completed on schedule and within budget has allowed the NHS trust to support next-generation medical services such as telemedicine and electronic patient records systems.
PSTG was responsible for the scoping, design, installation and configuration of the network, which has a Cisco Nexus switching core and around 350 Cisco edge routers.
