A major home counties NHS trust has selected PSTG to install and maintain a new picture archiving and communication system (PACS) for radiology scans.
The PACS, one of the first of its kind to be installed by a technology reseller, is being used for mammography and breast cancer detection and replaces an obsolete imaging system from BT.
It was implemented within a private cloud in less than three months and has capacity for 700,000 images, or around 300 terabytes of data.
PSTG was given responsibility for the design, installation and ongoing maintenance of the computer, storage and networking components of the system.
